Recently, Zhao Jiao, an educator from Pearson Education Group's PTE (Pearson Test of English Academic) Exam Promotion Center, visited Gengdan Institute of Beijing University of Technology. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions regarding the PTE Demonstration University Project. The purpose of this collaboration is to introduce PTE Academic English test preparation resources and practice materials to Gengdan Institute, enhancing students' preparation efficiency for international English exams and increasing their chances of gaining admission to overseas universities.

During the meeting, Zhao Jiao provided a detailed introduction to the PTE Demonstration School Project. This initiative aims to offer students at Gengdan Institute high-quality preparation services for the PTE Academic test, helping them become familiar with the test format and testing environment in advance, thus improving their preparation outcomes. Additionally, the project will offer free teacher training courses to faculty members, enhancing their understanding of the test process and content.

Wang Xiaoyu, Director of the International Office, expressed that the institute has always placed great emphasis on international education and actively sought substantial cooperation with world-class universities and academic institutions. The collaboration with Pearson Education Group not only provides students with more diverse English exam options but also greatly enhances their competitiveness for studying abroad, contributing to the improvement of the institute’s international reputation and educational quality.

The two sides also discussed the specifics of their cooperation in depth and reached preliminary agreements. Moving forward, Gengdan Institute will actively promote the implementation of the PTE Demonstration School Project, offering students better preparation services and educational experiences.
