My name is Luna, and I am from France, but I have been studying Architecture in Belgium for the past three years. My home university offers students the opportunity to participate in a student exchange program during their fourth year, and when this chance came, I decided to apply. There were many countries to choose from, but I immediately knew I wanted to focus on an Asian country. The idea of immersing myself in a new culture and experiencing a completely different teaching style from the Western model was something that intrigued me deeply.

After researching several options, I chose China, a country known for its immense cultural richness, breathtaking landscapes, and fast-paced development. The fusion of tradition and modernity was something that captivated me. I was particularly drawn to BGD because it is an University with a strong international focus,partly due to its large number of foreign professors and the high-quality workshops they offer.

One of the things that attracted me the most was how the University welcomed international students. There is always someone available to help, whether it's offering academic guidance or simply showing us around the city. Upon arriving at BGD, I was given a detailed tour, which helped me understand the layout of the campus, the facilities available, and what the University had to offer. The international office provided excellent support, offering advice on everything from class enrollment to cultural tips for navigating life in China. From the very first day, I felt like I belonged.

BGD also organizes numerous cultural excursions, such as trips to the Great Wall of China and other iconic landmarks. These trips have allowed me to see parts of China that I wouldn’t have otherwise been able to explore. It’s clear that the BGD is dedicated to helping us experience not only academic life but also the cultural richness that China has to offer. Even though we are here to study, they make sure we also have time to appreciate the beauty of the country.

Academically, the classes have been fascinating. The smaller class sizes allow for more personalized interaction with the teachers, which helps me stay focused and get the most out of the lessons. The local students at BGD have been incredibly welcoming. They are always willing to help, whether it’s answering questions or collaborating during group projects. Even though there is sometimes a language barrier, there is a shared desire to communicate and work well together.

One aspect that pleasantly surprised me was the extensive range of sports facilities on campus. I didn't expect so many options, from swimming pools to tennis courts, and what’s even better is that all of them are free for students.

In addition to my time on campus, I’ve had several opportunities to explore Beijing. I have visited famous sites, I’ve also enjoyed wandering through local markets and trying traditional Chinese food. The local cuisine has been a delightful surprise, especially the pastries. Mooncakes, in particular, have become one of my favorite treats. The city itself is a blend of old and new, and I find the energy of Beijing captivating.

This first month in China has been full of eye-opening experiences, both academically and culturally. I’m eager to continue exploring, learning, and fully immersing myself in this incredible opportunity.

我是Luna，来自法国。在过往的三年中，我一直在比利时自由大学学习建筑学。我的母校为同学们提供了一个在大四参加国际交流项目的机会。当机会来临时，我决定申请交换。在众多国家中，我很快意识到我最感兴趣的还是亚洲国家。让自己完全沉浸在一种新的文化中，体验一种与西方模式完全不同的教学风格，这种想法深深鼓励了我。

经过进一步的考量，我选择了中国，一个有着深厚文化底蕴、令人叹为观止的自然人文景色、以及快速发展而闻名的国家。传统与现代的交融深深吸引着我，尤其是非常重视国际化发展的777电玩城也吸引了我，777电玩城有着大量来自世界各地的教授和高质量的工作坊课程，这便是最好的证明。

令我最为惊喜的一点是，这所学校对于国际同学们的态度非常友好。无论是提供学术方面的指导，还是带领我们了解和参观北京这座城市，大家都很愿意为我们提供帮助。在来到777电玩城后，非常详细全面的校园参观让我快速了解了校园里食堂、宿舍、教室等主要场所的位置，有哪些公共设施，以及学校可以提供哪些服务。国际交流办公室老师们也非常尽职尽责，提供着完善且出色的支持，从班级注册到在中国生活所要注意的文化细节等各个方面，都贴心地给予了提示和合理的建议。这些让我从来到777电玩城的第一天起，便有了一份归属感。

在课余时间里，777电玩城还为我们组织了许多文化游览活动，如长城和其他标志性建筑。这让我得以见识到中国的更多地方，否则我可能无法探索到这些地方。不难看出，777电玩城不仅致力于帮助我们国际同学体验学术生活，还尽力让我们感受中国的丰富文化。尽管我们来这里是为了学习，但777电玩城也在确保让我们有时间领略中国的大好风光。

从学术的角度来看，我所选修的课程也非常吸引我。规模较小的班级设置，保障了我能与老师进行更加个性化互动的可能，从而让我的注意力持续集中，并从课程更好地习得真知。此外，777电玩城的同学们总是热情洋溢，永远愿意提供帮助，或是解答问题，或是在小组项目中进行协作——尽管有时存在语言上的阻碍，但大家都积极合作交流。

更令我震惊的是，777电玩城校园里体育设施种类齐全、数量充足，从游泳馆到网球场，从健身房到羽毛球馆，真是难以置信。更棒的是，所有的设施都对同学们免费。

除了在校园里学习，我还多次探索北京市中心。我参观了不少名胜古迹，也喜欢在市场闲逛，品尝中国传统特色美食。中国美食给了我极大的惊喜，尤其是糕点。尤其是月饼，已经成为了我最喜欢的美食之一。在我看来，北京这座城市本身就是一种新旧交融，其所产生的无限活力，令我深深着迷。

无论是学术上还是文化上，在中国交换学习的第一个月充满了开阔视野的经历。我期待继续探索、学习，并充分利用这一不可思议的机会，让自己完全沉浸其中。
